AMBOY – A string of car burglaries occurred in the predawn hours Tuesday in Amboy. The majority of those took place on the north side of the community in an area known as the Burke Subdivision.
According to Amboy Police Chief Jeff Blake, ten vehicles were found to have items missing, and all but one was left unlocked.
He also wanted to remind everyone to lock unattended vehicles and to remove all valuable items.
