PERU – A Chicago man was arrested on Monday in a bust by the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team for Heroin. In information released by Tri-Dent, 31-year-old Terrence L. Daugherty of Chicago was taken into custody in the 1800 block of May Road in Peru and charged with Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance. The warrant for his arrest stemmed from an investigation into drug sales in LaSalle County, where he allegedly delivered over one gram to an agent. Daugherty is being held on a one million dollars bond.
