PERU – Reps for Rescues, a local non-profit organization, is working to support animal shelters. The organization will host CrossFit fundraiser competitions all over the country, and the fees will go towards helping local animal shelters. Reps for Rescues just hosted their first event on November 17th at LP CrossFit, and raised over $1,500 for Illinois Valley Animal Rescue. Jon Swagert, the non-profit’s founder, said that the organization is already planning their next competition for early next year in Pennsylvania.
