PERU – Students in Peru will have access to books with the addition of two new Little Free Libraries at Northview School. Two little library stands were opened on Thursday morning, with a ribbon cutting ceremony by Principal Sara McDonald and Northview Librarian Mrs. Sandy Spelich. Students attended the event and got to hear from Rick Brooks, the co-founder of the Little Free Library program, which has put the small boxes where students can borrow a book at locations worldwide. The Peru Education Foundation helped bring the Little Free Libraries to the two locations on campus at Northview school on the playgrounds.
