SYCAMORE – Volunteers disaster responders with the American Red Cross responded to a Sycamore fire that displaced more than 100 people. On Saturday night volunteers responded to a fire in St. Albans Green apartment complex in Sycamore that displaced 120 people. The Red Cross provided immediate assistance like shelter, comfort kits and information about recovery services and health and mental health services. The Family Service Agency of DeKalb County will be accepting donated household items for the families, beginning Monday.
