OTTAWA – Emergency crews and authorities responded to a mid air skydiving collision at Skydive Chicago in Ottawa, Tuesday. According to a spokesperson for Skydive Chicago, just before noon a licensed skydiver was knocked unconscious in a mid air collision with another diver. His Automatic Activation Device reportedly activated and deployed. The Ottawa Fire Department says one skydiver landed at the airport while the other landed in the Fox River. Both were transported to a local area hospital.
