MENDOTA- A Mendota man is pleading to whomever took a package off his porch near 5th Street and 5th Avenue in Mendota to return it at once. Phillip Forst said on Tuesday that a package said to contain his brother’s remains was apparently missing after being shown it was delivered around noon.. He is asking anyone with any information to come forward or better yet drop the box off at the police station. Forst’s brother, Ronnie Peterson, drowned in a swimming incident in 2010. The Stuart, Florida man was just 34-years-old.
