STREATOR – Streator Unlimited received a grant to perform outreach and support to those with epilepsy. Service Director Stephanie Harcharik says the $179,000 grant will go towards the new Northwest Illinois Epilepsy Support Program meetings, outreach and assessment plans for families and caregivers of and individuals with Epilepsy.
The first meeting will be on Monday September 23rd, at 6 pm at Illinois Valley Industries Adult Learning Center in Morris, 1011 3rd Avenue. Meetings will be monthly and will vary in location throughout the northwest Illinois area.
