SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health released its daily Coronavirus report on Sunday, and the number of deaths plummeted to the lowest amount since April 2nd. Nineteen new deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, all in the Chicagoland area. Health Officials say 672 people have been confirmed positive for the disease out of 22,000 people tested. Locally, three people were confirmed to have tested positive in the past 24 hours in LaSalle County, two men in their 20’s and a man in his 50’s. All three are in isolation.
