Ottawa extends emergency declaration

OTTAWA – Ottawa’s City Council voted to extend their declaration of emergency regarding the coronavirus at Tuesday night’s meeting. Mayor Dan Aussem explained that the extension is just in case the situation regarding COVID-19 changes for the worse, amid increased cases in other states. The declaration is now extended through August 4th.
