PERU – Peru’s Police Department is introducing a new community program to the city. Police Chief Sarah Raymond and Community Service Officer Blake Frund presented The Offender Watch Program, a sex offender management and community notification tool to the city council on Monday night. Raymond says the Peru police department will use it to manage and monitor whereabouts and conduct compliance status checks of registered offenders in the city.
