OTTAWA – The LaSalle County Board passed a resolution in support of agriculture in the county. On Monday, LaSalle County Farm Bureau President David Isermann spoke to the board in favor of the resolution presented by the Illinois Farm Bureau. Isermann says the resolution of support helps the bureau when it comes to lobbying in Springfield.
Isermann was pleased to announce that agriculture production in the county is rated one of the highest in the nation for corn and soybeans last season, with corn production ranking fourth, and soybean production ranking seventh in the United States.
