PERU – A public hearing is scheduled for Peru Mall’s redevelopment plans. At 6 p.m., the public is welcome to learn more and give their opinions about the city’s plans for Peru Mall and adoption of the tax increment finance district. Attorneys for mall owners GK Development will be present as well as City Attorney Herb Klein regarding TIF matters. According to City Clerk Dave Bartley, council will gather at their regular meeting to approve amendments on the city’s existing liquor code to allow movie theaters, like AMC in Peru Mall to serve adult beverages.
