UTICA – Patchwork on the intersection of US Route 6 and IL Route 178 near Utica will begin on Monday. The project includes patching and resurfacing US Route 6 from IL Route 178 to the west city limits of Ottawa. Daytime lane closures controlled by flaggers will impact travel. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternative routes as they can expect delays. Intersection work is expected to last up to a week.
