UTICA – The man who died after a fall behind Starved Rock Lodge early Sunday morning has been identified. The LaSalle County Coroner’s Office say 31-year-old Alexander J. Torres of Holland, Michigan was pronounced dead after area fire departments worked to recover him from a hill north of the lodge. The incident remains under investigation by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, the Illinois Conservation Police and the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office.
