AURORA- The Kane County Health Department confirmed on Tuesday Aurora’s first death attributed to COVID-19. They say a man in his 90’s succumbed after being diagnosed just two days prior. Aurora has three other positive cases.
“We’ve been preparing for the inevitable news that COVID-19 is here and spreading,” said Mayor Irvin. “This weekend brought us news of confirmed cases, including residents and one of our APD supervisors, and the sad passing of one of our senior citizens. This is real, and we must all continue to do our part to stop the spread.”
