Spring Valley appoints first woman in history to Sergeant’s position

 

SPRING VALLEY – A Spring Valley Police officer was promoted to Sergeant, the first woman in the department’s history to achieve the rank. Office Sarah Kinkin was promoted at Spring Valley’s city council meeting on Monday. She has been a full time police officer since 2013. Kinkin is a certified juvenile officer, and a homicide and sexual assault investigator.
