OTTAWA – Emergency sewer repair work will be conducted in Ottawa beginning on Thursday at 6 a.m. The center and east lanes for southbound vehicles in the 600 block of LaSalle Street will be closed to all traffic from that block to Veterans Memorial Bridge. Only the west lane will remain open. LaSalle Street traffic will not be allowed to turn east onto the 100 block of West Main. That street will be closed to traffic from LaSalle Street east to Court Street. Court Street and West Main Street from Columbus to Court will remain open to traffic and parking. The closures are expected to remain in place 24 hours a day until Saturday. Drivers are reminded to use extreme caution when traveling in the area and prepare for time delays.
