New Basketball Court Surface Installed in Mendota

MENDOTA – The new surface of the upgraded public basketball courts have been installed at Strouss Park in Mendota. The two full sized courts located in what many call Purple Park, were upgraded with a new playing surface that features the colors of purple and gold by the Mendota Optimist Club and Lions Club, who worked with the city to finish the project. The estimated $30,000 project should be completed in the next week.
